Diamoric

Diamoric

(adjective)

Diamoric describes the attraction orientation of a non-binary person who doesn’t experience attraction in a way that can be described as “same gender” / “other gender.” The term itself is still coming into regular use and is still stabilizing in terms of its colloquial meaning. It is generally understood to be an umbrella term that covers a wide range of attractions experienced by non-binary people. It can also be used to describe relationships in which one of the participants is non-binary, regardless of the gender of the other participants.

e.g. While Jude used the word “queer” around cisnormative people, they told other queers that they are diamoric.
