Microdosing

Microdosing

(sustantivo)

Microdosing is an approach to medical transition involving taking smaller than average doses of hormones in order to achieve a slower, less immediately impactful effect. While it’s been largely connected to the non-binary community, anyone undergoing medical transition can choose to microdose for a variety of reasons. It’s important that hormone therapy be overseen by a medical professional as they have a widespread effect on the body.

e.g. Brooklyn told hir doctor that ze wanted to microdose hir hormones
