Gender Affirming Surgery

Gender Affirming Surgery

(noun)

Gender affirming surgery is any surgery that a person undergoes in order to affirm their gender. This is most often referring to top or bottom surgery, though vocal and facial surgeries are also technically gender affirming surgeries.

e.g. Shay picked up a card to congratulate Jakob on his recent gender affirming surgery.

Organizations that help trans people fund their surgeries:

| Point of Pride | Jim Collins Foundation | Genderbands |
