Neurosexism
(noun | -ist, adjective)
A specific kind of biological essentialism that claims that men and women (and sometimes intersex and non-binary people) have specific differences in their brains that explains their genders. It is most often seen as a way that some folks try to “justify” transgender people. They claim that a trans person actually has “a wo/man’s brain” which is why they’re trans. None of this is proven by science.
e.g. John was excited about the new trans org he found locally until he saw that they had posted a neurosexist article mischaracterizing a recent brain study.
